Directions to the University of Hartford

From Boston and points Northeast: Follow Route 90 West (Mass. Pike) to I-84 (exit 9). Travel I-84 West to Exit 44 (Prospect Avenue).*

From Springfield, Mass. And Vermont: Travel I-91 South to Exit 35B and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 218 West.**

From Albany and points West: Follow Route 90 East (New York Thruway and Mass. Pike) to I-91 (exit 4 off the Mass. Pike). Travel I-91 South into Connecticut. Take Exit 35B and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 218 West.**

From New Haven: Travel I-91 North to Exit 35B and turn left at the end of the ramp onto Route 218 West. ** OR Travel I-91 North and exit onto I-84 West in Hartford. Take exit 44 (Prospect Ave.)*

From Long Island: Throgs Neck Bridge to New England/ I-95. At New Haven take I-91 North to I-84 West. Take Prospect Ave. exit 44.*

From New Jersey, NY City and points South: George Washington or Tappan Zee Bridges. East I-684 North to I-84 East. Take Prospect Ave. exit 44.*

* Prospect Ave. Directions from exit ramps : From I-84 West take a right on Kane Street , then a left onto Prospect Ave. From I-84 East, bear left at stop sign then left at light onto Prospect Ave. Follow Prospect Avenue 2.5 miles to its downhill end at the junction of Route 44. Take a right onto Albany Avenue (Route 44) followed by a quick sharp left onto Bloomfield Avenue (Route 189). The campus is a half-mile on the right.

**Directions from Exit 35B, I-91, and from Exit 1, I-291: Travel Route 218 West approximately 4 miles, passing a major shopping center on the left, to the junction of Routes 218 and 189. Take a left onto Bloomfield Avenue (Route 189) and proceed to the University of Hartford entrance 2 miles on the left.

Directions for Parking and to Wilde Auditorium

1. From the main entrance of the University, follow the one-way road through the stop sign. Go over the bridge.

2. Park in L lot, which will be on the left-hand side.

3. To reach Wilde Auditorium, walk back over the bridge to the short driveway through the parking lot on the right-hand side of the road. Look for the double glass doors which will lead you into Wilde Auditorium.

Public Safety at the University of Hartford requests that all visitors to the campus display a parking permit on the dashboard of their car. Further information on parking permits will follow after your reservation is received.
