November was another whirlwind month with craft shows every weekend except
Thanksgiving weekend. We were very busy trying to have items available for
all of the shows and stay ahead so that there would be plenty of new things
for the big craft show at CT Expo Center this upcoming weekend. Well, I don't
think that you'll be disappointed. In addition to the new items in this
month's newsletter, there will be a few more surprises at the show. If you
are not local to Connecticut or can't get to the show, watch the website
later this week for the most up-to-date inventory. I hope you enjoy the new
styles.
For new ventures, I recently bought some handmade beads from India that are
yet another ethnic style distinctly different from the two Bali/Turkey and
Thai Hill Tribe styles that I've been working with. You'll see an example
of them in the black onyx tube necklace in this newsletter. I'll definitely
buy more. I also bought some vermeil which is 24K over sterling silver.
I'll be wear testing the beads over the next few months so that I have a good
idea of the durability of the gold.
