Well, it has been a long, cold winter here in Connecticut but Spring is
finally here and it’s time to begin our second year of showing our
jewelry at the local craft shows. We got a late start in signing up for some,
but we do have some ‘definites’ at this point. We are really excited about
this year because we learned so much doing the shows last year that we have a
better idea of which shows and locations to focus on. If we figured out one
thing, it’s that our customers are very discriminating. We also want to go
back to the places where we had the most fun.
Our first show is next weekend. I’ve been spending a lot of time on my
inventory and haven’t made as many new items as we would have liked to, but
you will see that there are a few new designs with new materials. If you have
been waiting for a two-tone necklace, one of the designs is now on the site.
Speaking of the site, Paul has made a lot of improvements. The things that
will be most noticeable to you is that you’ll now see two items per row and
all sizes are combined into one picture with the volumes on hand instead of
separate pictures for each size.
